And the Road Commissioners shall not expend more money than the town has appropriated for them until they consult the selectionen and get their permission to do so.

1892 Voted to authorize the selectores to pay a bounty as follows for the evidence of the destruction of a woodchuck or a skunk within the township by a citizen of the town, satisfactory to the Selectoren, Vis for each woodchuck or skunk killed. during the month of April forty cent. per head, for each such animal killed during other months of the year twenty cents

Boxford Nov. 8 1892. Pursuant to the fore going warrant the inhabitants, of Precinct 2, qualified to vote as the law directs assembled at the time and place and for the purpose thereis expressed. (it(10) ten O'clock. a. M. the warrant calling the meeting was read by Precinct-Clerk who then publicly ofmed. the balloblo and the same having been person- ally examined by the election officers and the public, was found to be empty. The ballot-fox was immediately locked, the register indicating 000, and the key of the box was taken and retained by Charles F. Austin the Constable in attendance. The Precinct Clerk then called upon the inhabitants of said Precinct qualified to vote, to give in their ballots for the purpose expressed in said warrant. The ballot box remained locked while the polls were open. at two O'clock and forty minutes a.M. the polls were closed. The ballot box was found to register seventy four 74. The Officers in charge of the checklist in the presence of the other officers and the public counted in a distinct and audible voice the names checked on vid list, and annown- ced the whole number to be seventy four 74. The ballot boy was then opened by the wander without being removed from the public view, ti ballots taken there from cut audibly con fox one by one and the Precinct Clerks publicly announced the whole number to be seventy- four 74. The precision Officers, then proceeded to count the number of votes received by such person voted for with the following result.
