Result of eye and ear test:
Defective vision
16
Defective hearing
..
Vision corrected by glasses
(Ear test not given at the high school to date)
Dental Work
During the past year dental work was all taken care ol privately.
Number dental certificates received
As the school enrollment was 385 the number of pupils having dental work completed seems very small. It is expected to have a school dental clinic this year. Perhaps this will help to encourage more dental work being done both in the clini and by private dentists.

25
Results were all negative.
Number children to be followed up by Clinic because of contact 9
Only the follow-up cases and grades 9 to 12 were examined. All the teachers were requested to be X-rayed at this Clinic. I am glad to report that all the teachers of Hamilton have Iwon X-rayed during the last two clinics and found to be free from pulmonary tuberculosis.
Number home calls 350
Number classroom inspections 53
Number immunized against diphtheria 24
Number First Aid dressings 189
Number consultations with parents, teachers, pupils, doctors, clinic and other health agents 1,943
Number contagious diseases of school children reported to date :
Whooping cough . 2 Measles 2
German measles .. 1 Mumps 1
Miscellaneous illnesses :
Scabies 3 Impetigo 3
Ivy 14
Operations
3
It is very interesting to note how few cases of communi- cable or contagious diseases have been reported to date. I feel sure by eliminating what appears to be the common cold from the classroom we would also eliminate the epidemics of contagion.
22
SCHOOL REPORT
In closing I wish to thank the parents, teachers, pupil school physician and other health authorities for their 1.64 and considerate help in making our school system do its park in health education.
Respectfully submitted, FLORENCE L. STOBBART, R. N School. Nit

Goodbye to our old schooldays We'll always hold you near and dear.
We're at the parting of the ways; We're off to conquer worlds of fear. The stars above will be our guide, We'll launch our ship and sail away. Success shall be the boat we ride, And happiness will be our pay.
Chorus
Goodbye to our dear school days To all our friends and teachers too. To Alma Mater we'll be true, Goodbye to our dear school days Composed by: Pauline Powers, 39; Mary Moore, '39
