Persons who wish, may secure lots by purchase at a low price, by application to the City Treasurer, while ample provision is made for the accommodation of families not wish- ing to purchase, without charge.

The RURAL CEMETERY, on Grove Street, loses none of its hold on the best feelings of our citizens, as one by one the remains of our friends are deposited within its hallowed enclosure. Con- stant improvements are going forward there, quite creditable to the good taste of those having them in charge. It is managed by a Board of Trustees, consisting of Levi Lincoln, President; Geo. PRINTING.

The undersigned would again invite the attention of his friends and fellow citi- zens to his increased facilities for doing every variety of

PRINTING

that may be called for. Fine Book and Pamphlet work done in a superior man- ner, on nice, thick paper, or on cheaper paper, as desired ; and for a lower price than the same quality work can be obtained in Boston. Cards and Bill Heads, Posters and Showbills, Circulars and Labels, Checks, Notes and Receipts, new style Cloth Direction Tags, and all kinds of

PRINTING

required for Business, Social or Wedding purposes, promptly done, in superior style. HENRY J. HOWLAND, 212 Main Street.

The following notice was written by J. L. CLARKE, Esq., (now of the State Auditor's Office,) and published editorially in the Worcester Transcript, some years since, and the facts there stated are still worthy of attention.

ELEGANT TYPOGRAPHY .- It seems to have been the impression in many minds, that book printing cannot be done in a superior style, except in Boston or some of the larger cities. It is altogether a mistaken opinion, as some of the most perfect and elegant book work we have ever seen is executed at the office of Henry J. How- land, of this city. We have a specimen just now before us, the pamphlet contain- ing a recent sermon occasioned by the death of a distinguished citizen. Its typo- graphy cannot be excelled, nor can it suffer by comparison with the most elegant English and American specimens of printing. Those desiring work of this kind, are referred to Mr. Howland. (212 Main Street, Worcester.)
