THE CIRCUIT COURTS OF MARYLAND.


Terms of Courts .- The Judges of the Circuit Courts have power to change the days for the com- mencement of the terms of Courts, &c., under the following provisions of the Constitution, Art. 4 section 24.


"The Judges shall hold not less than two terms of the Circuit Court in each of the counties com- posing their respective circuits, at such times as are now or may hereatter be prescribed, to which jurors shall be summoned. Said Judges may alter or fix the times for holding any or all terms until otherwise prescribed, and shall adopt rules to the end that all business not requiring the interposi- tion of a jury. shall be, as far as practicable, dis- posed at said intermediate terms."
