At the beginning of the year work was necessarily handi- capped by change in superintendent, nevertheless, by solid effort and kindness of Ex-Superintendent George C. Hight the situation was grasped and we believe quality and quantity of work done during the school year has been good. Not every- thing has gone just right, but for the greatest part everyone concerned has striven to make the work as pleasant and profit- able as possible. Work has been carried out according to follow- ing, which is quoted from outline placed in hands of every teacher :
"This is a minimum course of study and is meant for a guide only. It is sincerely hoped each teacher will lend his
or her individual ideas and augment the work in many ways. If work progresses slowly and a grade's work is not completed at end of school year, spring term, have it continue over to fall term. Use all supplementary material obtainable. This outline is open to criticism of teachers to be made better for another year if we then have the work in charge.
