IMPORTANT NOTICE
The following is a copy of the seasonable assessors notice re- quired to be posted in accordance with Chapter 81, Section 35 Re- vised Statutes of 1944. All' Taxpayers should carefully read and comply with the notice.
ASSESSORS' NOTICE
The Assessors of the Town of Webster, Maine hereby give notice to all persons liable to taxation in said Town, that they will be in session at the Selectmens Office, Town Hall, in said Town, on the First Day of April from 7:00 to 10:00 P. M. for the purpose of the polls and estates taxable in said Town.
All such persons are hereby notified to make and bring to said Assessors true and perfect lists of their polls and all their es- tates, real and personal, not by law exempt from taxation, which they were possessed of, or which they held as guardian, executor, administrator, trustee or otherwise on the first day of April 1952 and be prepared to make oath to the truth of the same.
When estates of persons deceased have been divided during the past year, or have changed hands from any cause, the executor, ad- ministrator, or other persons interested, are hereby warned to give notice of such change, and default of such notice will be held under the law to pay the tax assessed although such estates has been wholly distributed and paid over.
Any person who neglects to comply with this notice will be DOOMED to a tax according to the laws of the State, and be bar- red of the right to make application to the Assessors or County Commissioners for any abatement of his taxes, unless he offers such lists with his application and satisfies them that he was unable to offer it at the time hereby appointed.
VETERANS NOTICE
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PERSONS CLAIMING
TAX EXEMPTION
In accordance with provisions of Chapter 160, of the Public Laws of 1951, any male or female veteran, or blind person, or widow or minor child of such male veteran or blind person who desires to secure tax exemption under the provisions of Chap- ter 81, Section 6, Subsection X must, in order to obtain such exemption, on or before the first day of April, notify in writ- ing, the assessors of the Town in which he or she resides and furnish said assessors, documentary proof of entitlement to such exemption.
