TOWN WARRANT
To George L. Allen, a constable in the Town of Bowdoin, County of Sagadahoc, State of Maine-Greeting.
In the name of the State of Maine you are hereby re- quested to notify and warn the inhabiltants of said Town of Bowdoin, qualified to vote in Town affairs, to assemble at the Town House the first day of March, A. D. 1909, at nine o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to act on the follow- ing articles. to wit :
ARTICLE I-To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
ART. 2-To choose a Clerk for the ensuing year.
ART. 3-To hear the report of the Selectmen.
ART. 4-To hear the report of the Treasurer.
ART. 5-To hear report of Superintending School Com- mittee .
ART. 6 To choose three Selectmen, Assessors and Overseer of Poor.
ART. 7-To choose Collector of Taxes and Constable.
ART. 8-To choose Treasurer for the ensuing year.
ART. 9-To choose one Member of the Superintending School Committee.

ART. IT-To choose Auditor for the ensuing year.
ART. 12-To see if the Town will vote to elect road Commissioner or act in relation thereto.

ART. 16-To see if the Town will raise, appropriate and set apart for the permanent improvement of the main highway in the Town such sum of money as is contemplated and directed by Section 5 of Chapter 112, of the Public Laws of Maine for the year 1907, being the sum of $56.50.
ART. 1612-To see if the Town will vote to raise one hundred dollars ($100) to be expended on the Ward Hill, so-called and act in relation thereto. (By request.)
ART. 17-To see if the Town will vote to raise the sum of $100 for the repair of Bridge and Road at foot of hill near residence of Geo. H. Staples, or act in relation thereto. (By petition. )

ART. 19-To see if the Town will vote to raise one hun- dred ($100) to gravel the two hills on the road nearest to the residence of Chas. Johnson, leading to Starbird Corner or act in relation thereto. (By request.)
ART. 20-To see if the Town will vote to raise one hun- dred dollars ($100| to gravel the road leading to Bowdoin- ham, beginning near the residence of F. W. Currier, thence easterly. (By request.)

ART. 30-To see if the Town will vote to authorize its superintending School Committee to join with either or any of the following Towns to wit: Bowdoinham, Richmond or Litchfield for the purpose of employing a Superintendent of Schools in accordance with the provisions of Section 40 to 45 inclusive of Chapter 15 of the Revised Statutes.
ART. 31-To see what sum the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the salary of Superintendent of Schools for the ensuing year.
ART. 32-To see if the Town will instruct the Commit- tee to reopen the school in the Varney District, so-called.
