MOLASSES.
The total imports of Molasses during the year 1862 were 38,774 hogsheads, 4,355 tierces, 184 pancheons, and 1,574 bar- rela, containing a total of 5,824,002 gallons.
In 1861, the quantity was 4,971,528 gallons.
In 1660, the quantity was 6,011, 137 gallons.

SUGAR.
The importations of Sugar during the year 1862, were 9,031 hogsheads, 5,624 boxes, 460 tierces, 202 barrels.
Total for 1861, 826 hogsheads, 508 boxes, 124 tierces.
Total for 1860, 655 hogsheads, 2,286 boxes, 75 tierces.
Total for 1859, 6,810 hogsheads, 5,609 boxes, 381 tierces.
Total for four years, 11,122 hogsheads, 14,027 boxes, 1,040 tierces, 202 barrels.
SALT.
The importations for the year 1862, were 6,542 tons, 6,500 hogsheads, 1,198 sacks, 57,625 bushels.
In 1861, the importations were reduced to bushels, 275,752; from the following places :

Among the Exports to foreign countries, were, Flour, exclu- sive of the quantity sent to St. Jolin, N. B., 84,064 barrels.
