D. 1764 I John Lemont of Georgetown In the County of Lincoln and Province of the Massachusetts Bay In New England Gentleman Being week in body but of Perfect mind & memory Thanks be Given to God : Therefore Calling to mind the mortallity of my body and Knowing that it is appointed for all men once to Die Do make and ordain this my Last will and Testament that is to say Principlely and first of all I Give and Recomend my soul Into the Hands of God that gave it and my body I Recomend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian Burial at the Discretion of my Executors Nothing Doubting but at the Gen- eral Resurrection I shall Receive the same again by the Mighty Power of God and Touching such worldly Estate wherewith it Hath Pleased God to Bless me with in this Life I give demise and Dispose of the same in the following maner and form-
Imprimise I Give and bequeath to Elisebeth my Dearly beloved wife the use and Improvement of my Dwelling House and barn and the whole of my farm whereon the buildings stand withe all my Cattles stock and moveables within Doors & without till my son David Lemont arives to sixten years of age and afterwards Duringher widdow- hood at the Expiration of which Time the said Elisebeth is to Deliver ye use and Improvment of the s'd artickels with all the artickels to my surviving Hiers in as good Repare as when she Receved them Item-as I have already Given to my sons Benjamin and James Le-
