Hampshire in New Engª Yeoman, and Alice his Wife one of ye two Daughters of Wm Davie late of Sheepsquit in New England, Yeoman Deceased, who was ye only Son of George Danie heretofore of Sheepsquit aforesd Marrin' Deceased Intestate Sends Greeting, Know Yee that ye sd Jacob Clarke and Alice his Wife for and in consideration of ye Sum of Seuenty ffiue Pounds Lawfull money of New England to them in hand paid before ye Ensealing and Delivery of these presents by Charles Frost of Kittery in ye County of York within his majesties Prouince of ye Massachuttes Bay in New England Esqr ye receipt whereof to full content & Sat- isfaction they ye sd Jacob and Alice Clarke, Haue Ginen, granted, bargained & Sold and by these presents do ac- knowledge and thereof and of every part thereof for them- selues their Heirs, Execut's & administrs doth acquit Exon- erate, and discharge ye sª Charles Frost his heirs Execurs & Administrs every of them for ever by these presents and for diuers other good causes and considerations them hereunto mouing they ye sd JJacob and Alice Clarke hath giuen granted bargained Sold aliened Enfeoffed Conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth fully freely, clearly and absolutely giue, grant, bargain, Sell Aliene En- feof convey and confirm unto ye sª Charles ffrost his Heirs and assigns for ener, one full Eight part of all that certain Tract or Tracts of Land scituate lying and being on ye West and North sides of whicheasseck Bay, with ye Lands lying on ye West and north sides of Mount Swegne Bay and that Island lying betwixt Sheepsqut narrows Mount Swege Bay afore sd all which Lands, are lying and being in Sheepsqut Riuer between Sagadohoc and Nova Scotia the same being formerly in ye Gouerment of New York which aforesd Lands were bought and purchased by our Honoured Grandfather the abone named George Davie of ye origin" proprietors thereof who were the Indian Natiues Sackims or Sagamores of Sheepsquit Riner aforesaid namely Necodehant [155] and Obius as will more fully appears by their Deed for ye same bearing date ye nineteenth day of January 1666 duly Exe- cuted proued and Recorded which Deeds was afterwards rat- itied and confirmed by an Indian Sachim called Robin Hood of Sheepsquit Riuer aforesaid, as appears more fully by his Deed or Instrument bearing date the ninth day of January 1668 wherein ye sd Lands is perticular described duly exe- cuted acknowledged and Recorded Together with all and singular the Trees Woods underwoods housing buildings, ponds, Creeks, Riuers, Rivelets, Waters Water Courses Streams Stones, mines, mineralls, profits previlidges and
