COURTS.


UNITED STATES CIRCUIT COURT OF APPEALS.


Sessions are held annually on the Tuesday after the first Monday of October, and adjourned sessions on the Tuesday after the first Monday of each other month in the year, except August and September. At the July session no causes will be heard except on the special order of the court.

The Postal Savings Bank is operated in connection with the Money Order Division, is established for the purpose of depositing savings at interest, with the security of the Government for repayment. Any person over ten years of age may become a depositor. without expense. at his home office only. Deposits are limited to $100 a month and a total balance of $500 at any one time. Savings Certificates are pay- able on demand, are not transferrable and draw in- terest annually at 2 per cent. Certificates may be exchanged for Postal Savings Bonds, which pay in-

terest at 21/2 per cent. Amounts less than $1.00 may be saved for deposit by the purchase of 10-cent sav- ings cards and adhesive 10-cent savings stamps.

For Orders for sums not exceeding $2.50. 3 cents.


Over $2.50 and not exceeding $5.00. 5 cents. Over $5.00 and not exceeding $10.00. 8 cents.


Over $10.00 and not exceeding $20.00. 10 cents.


Over $20.00 and not exceeding $30.00 12 cents.


Over $30.00 and not exceeding $40.00


15 cents.


Over $40.00 and not exceeding $50.00. 18 cents.

Postage-The postage on letters to be forwarded in the mails to any part of the United States, or it's posses- sions, is two cents per ounce, prepaid by stamp.


The postage on letters dropped in this office for delivery in the city, two cents per ounce, prepaid by stamp. Great Britain, Canada, Germany (conditionally), Cuba and Mexico, two cents per ounce, pre-payment com- pulsory.


The postage on second class matter (which includes newspapers and periodicals), is one cent for each four ounces or fraction.


The postage on third class (miscellaneous printed matter, etc) is one cent for each two ounces.


Postage to other countries included in the Universal Postal Union for prepaid letters, five cents for the first ounce and three cents for each additional ounce or fraction (where the postage is not paid or but partly paid, double the amount is collected at the other end).
