HACK ORDINANCE.


RATES OF FARE AUTHORIZED BY CITY ORDINANCE RELATIVE TO PUBLIC CARRIAGES, ETC.


The price to be charged by the owner or owners, or their drivers or employees, of any hack, carriage, cab, or other vehicle, for the con- veyance of passengers for hire, within the city of St. Paul, shall be as follows : For conveying a passenger anywhere in the city, fifty cents; for every additional passenger of the same party, twenty-five cents. But omnibuses shall not charge more than twenty-five cents for each passenger carried less than half a mile. For children between five and fourteen years of age, half the above rates; children under five years of age, no charge shall be made. Every passenger shall be allowed to have conveyed on said vehicle, without charge, his or her ordinary traveling bag-
