JOHN C. ZALLEE,

Merchant Tailor

No. 110 Olive Street,

ST. LOUIS, - - MISSOUEI.

ST. LOUIS

VS

PARIS.

St. Louis has rather reversed the order of things in the fashionable world, and has demonstrated the astonishing fact that excellence in the art of Tailoring is not confined to Paris alone, but on the con- trary, a jury of Parisian gentlemen have had the candor to acknowledge an Ameri- can house worthy the distinction of producing the

Finest Gents' Clothing in the World.

It may not be generally known that Mr. Zallee, a well-known Merchant Tailor of St. Louis, had the boldness and enterprise to send a suit of gentlemen's clothing to the late Exposition at Paris, and was successful in bearing off the prize in the face of all competition. Mr. Zallee's reputation for taste, skill and fashion in clothing is no longer a local, but a national matter; and in addition to the above, at the seventh annual fair, at St. Louis, Mr. Zallee achieved a still greater triumph than he did at Paris. He was awarded, by the judges, the first premium for a whole suit-coat, vest and pants-beside which, all our citizens who are competent judges, award him their patronage; for a better fit, either at home or abroad, cannot be had than at his establishment.

Persons wishing fashionable clothing should not fail to give Mr. Zallee a call, at 110 Olive street, for in the matter of taste and skill he has no superior.
