HOW TO REACH WINSTON-SALEM
-BY THE-
RICHMOND & DANVILLE RAILROAD. (PIEDMONT AIR LINE.)
Greensboro, N. C., is 29 miles from Salem, and here all persons change cars. There are two Stations. All roads, save the C. F. & Y. V., centre at the Richmond & Danville depot. The C. F. & Y. V. Station is only a few hundred feet distant. Transfer of baggage is made at this point at a cost of a few cents. Passengers can readily walk from one building to the other.
From all roads a change of ears is necessary, but as the Salem train is the last to leave, passengers proceed on one of the two regular daily trains direct to Salem, with- out a lengthy delay. There are two daily trains from Greensboro to Salem, except on Sunday-only one being run on that day.
Brown & Brown Carry a complete stock of Proprietary Medi- cine, Paints, Oil and Varnishes which they retail almost at wholesale prices. 312 Liberty Street.
