We have examined the accounts of the selectmen and treas- urer and find them correct and properly vouched for. We call your special attention to the bills of the board of health as they were necessarily very large. They are all itemized and

placed on file for the inspection of every one. We found them correct and properly vouched for in every respect.
We would recommend to future boards of selectmen for the town of Lisbon the keeping of a cash book and ledger on which they shall keep all of their accounts of the various kinds during their term of office.
Respectfully submitted,

REPORT OF
LISBON POLICE COURT.
February 1, 1909, to February 1, 1910. Organized 1897.
Justice and Clerk, BEN STANLEY WEBB.
Deputy Sheriff, WAYNE W. PRESBY.
Causes brought before the Court for the year number 12, as follows:
Assault 5
Drunkenness 4 Adultery 2
Larceny . 1
In comparison with former years the record shows a large decrease in the number of cases of drunkenness. This might be a reason for congratulations if it were not for the further record of an increased number of assault cases. The final in- ference therefore to be drawn from the comparison is not that there has been less drunkenness during the year, but less police vigilance.
Respectfully submitted,
B. S. WEBB, Justice.
