REPORT OF SCHOOL BOARD. -

We are glad to state that the schools throughout the town have made good progress during the past year.

Our schools have been well equipped and supplied with competent and experienced teachers.

Much new interest was shown, both by teachers and scholars, in the plain sewing and vegetable exhibit at the Grange Fair.

Ten dollars was given to the children, in pre- miums, by the same friend who gave last year. These gifts mean much more to the children than can possi- bly be realized, except by those closely connected with the work.

In order to comply with the law it will be neces- sary to rebuild the out houses on the school premises. Plans are now in operation to begin this work in the early spring. Funds, of course, will be necessary for this work.

We wish to express our appreciation to all who have shown interest in the school work during the past year.

LYSLE R. MORRISON, GEORGE D. PATTEE, CLARA J. PULSIFER,

School Board.
