The stock room, reference and reading rooms are particularly pat- ronized by the students of the grammar and high schools. Last year the books taken out numbered 16,575, and of these 1,657 were non-fiction. The moey collected for fines and cards amounted to $131.37. The Library is open from 1.30 to 4.30 P. M. and from 7.00 to 9.00 in the evening.
At the Librarians' Association held last October at Keene, Mrs. Hastings represented the trustees of this town, accompanied by Miss Brackett. 3 An invitation was proferred the association to meet at Lan- caster the coming summer.
A gift of great interest and value for future history is from Mr. Henry Sweet of Boston. It takes the form of two large albums, contain- ing photos and newspaper clippings of President Harding and party who we. e guests of Secretary of War John W. Weeks, at his summer home on Mt. Prospect last summer. Mr. Sweet was a member of the party.
I would like to add to this report that the courtesy and affibility of the young people in complying to requests, is much appreciated by the Librarians in charge.
