THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE


To the inhabitants of the Town of Swanzey in the County of Cheshire in said state, qualified to vote in town affairs :


You are hereby notified to meet at the Town House in said Swanzey on Tuesday, the eleventh day of March next at nine o'clock in the forenoon to act upon the following subjects :


1. To choose all necessary town officers for the year en- suing


2. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to defray town charges for the ensuing year and make appro- priations for the same.


3. To hear the reports of town officers and agents in re- gard to the present methods of conducting town business and to receive any suggestions as to changes and to act thereon.


4. To see if the town will vote to raise money to secure state aid on its highways or take any action thereon.


5. To see if the town will vote to raise $250 for state aid maintenance, the state to give $250.

6. To see if the town will vote to raise $3,500, the state and government to give $7,000.


7. To see if the town will vote to raise $2,600 to main- tain its trunk line, the state to appropriate $3,900.


8. To see if the town will appropriate $200 for the con- trol of the white pine blister rust, to be duplicated by the state fund, also by the government fund, making a total of $600 available.


9. To see how much money the town will vote to raise to decorate soldiers' graves.


10. To see how much money the town will vote to raise for Richardson Park.


11. To see how much money the town will vote to raise for Old Home Week.


12. To see how much money the town will vote to raise for care of cemeteries.


13. To see how much money the town will vote to raise for electric lights.


14. To see if the town will vote to raise $100 for Strat- ton Free Library.


15. To see how much money the town will vote to raise for the maintenance of the fire department.


16. To see how much money the town will vote to raise towards paying the town debt.

18. To see if the town will vote to place one light on the pole already set beside the railroad station at Westport.


19. To see if the town will vote to have the April in- voice printed in the town report permanent.


20. To see if the town will vote to accept a gift of $100 returned from Red Cross fund from George E. Whitcomb.


21 To see if the town will vote to accept the old district way of working the town highways.


22. To appoint one committee for Old Home Dav.


23. To see if the town will vote to place a suitable honor roll for the boys of our town who served in the World War, in or outside the town hall, Swanzey Center, and appropriate money for the same.
