NEXT WEEK THANKSGIVING NUMBER

@AMERICANS AGRICULTURIST

The one weekly agricultural NEWSpaper. First of all it is devoted to the NEWS of agriculture. It reports what is going on. It reveals underlying conditions that forecast the influence that will affect agriculture. It reports the changing conditions that confront the farmer and the various branches of his business, as well as his family and social interests.

Its original, exclusive and comprehensive crop reports are a feature of AMERICAN AGRICULTURIST. These reports are the accepted authorities among the producing, transportation, distributing, mercantile and consuming interests. The Orange Judd crop reports are considered more reliable than the govern- ment reports, while much more prompt and newsy.

We tell the news about crop conditions, market influences, etc., from one week to a month or more earlier than does the government. AMERICAN AGRICULTURIST is quoted more widely ky the daily press and other newspapers than probably all other farm weeklies put together.

In addition to crop and market news, AMERICAN AGRICUL- TURIST reports weekly what is going on among the farmers, describes the doings of their organizations, and gives the news about whatever is happening in each and every branch of agricul- ture in the respective sections.

As an agricultural NEWSpaper, AMERICAN AGRICUL- TURIST therefore is unique.

None other of the farm press even attempts anything approaching our adequate crop reporting service. During the summer and autumn months, the Orange Judd reports have been the first, the most complete and the authoritative statement of all that was known of the situation from week to week pertaining to the staple crops : Wheat, corn, oats, cotton, hay, tobacco, potatoes, apples. Also all special crops, such as small fruits, vegetables, cranberries, onions, milk, butter, cheese, eggs, rye, barley, buckwheat, rice, etc. Our comprehensive inquiries reveal the relation of agriculture and cther fundamental conditions to general business and all industry. Notable examples of this service appear in each issue.

Special Service to Advertisers and Subscribers

Orange Judd service bureau also performs a service to our subscribers and advertisers which may be likened to what Dun and Bradstreets do for their clients, among merchants, manufacturers and bankers.

We give our subscribers and readers SERVICE. We co-operate with them to enable our advertisers to better serve our subscribers and readers, and thus make the advertising columns of AMERICAN AGRICULTURIST of larger usefulness from month to month and year to year to each and every sub- scriber, reader and advertiser.

The publisher executes a bond of confidence with each subscriber in which we guarantee the relia- bility of each advertiser and advertisement admitted to AMERICAN AGRICULTURIST.

We seek to build un agriculture, to promote rural life, to foster legitimate business and to insure general prosperity. We strive to build up instead of tear down.

The Standard Authority

upon the technique of agriculture and home interests, AMERICAN AGRICULTURIST is preserved for reference and study as the standard authority upon the best methods of doing the various operations on the farm and in the home.

It constitutes a technical magazine of agriculture, a weekly authoritative encyclopedia of all branches of farming and of home interests.

Most Carefully Read

Our subscribers and their folks eagerly wait the coming of AMERICAN AGRICULTURIST, to get its news in all phases of agriculture, its crop reports, its market forecast, its price quotations.

They study it for reliable and authoritative information upon the technique of work on the farm or in the home.

They preserve it as the standard authority for constant reference.
