The dyeing of Silk, Woollen and Fancy Goods, has, for a long term of years, occupied the close attention of the undersigned at Staten Island. For the last ten years, it has been their exclusive business, for which they have built up a New Establishment at Staten Island, now the most extensive for this business in the country, and, as far as known, in the world. All the approved appli- ances and apparatus of the art have been here brought into requisition, the most competent and expert of foreign dyers and chemists have been induced to work in their establishment, and for large fees, to impart the important modern discoveries of European dyers.
Great improvement has been made in the dyeing and re-finishing of
ENGLISH & FRENCH CRAPES,
to which the attention of the trade is particularly called.
Especial effort and expense has also been devoted to dyeing and re-finish- ing SATIN AND TAFFETA RIBBONS, which they are now enabled to do in a style new in this country, and altogether superior.
Broadcloths, Cassimeres, Coburgs, Merinoes, Delaines, Challies, Bareges, Lawns, Silks, Satins, Canton Crapes, Velvets, &c., &c., dyed and re-finished in the best manner.
Merinoes, Mousseline Delaines, Opera Flannels, &c., are successfully dyed and re-finished from the loom or " GRAY " state.
All kinds of Trimmings, Galloons, Gimps, Fringes, Buttons, &c., dyed.
Crape and other Shawls dyed to any given shade.
The undersigned have but one office in New York. They have no office in the City of Brooklyn.

In a large proportion of cases, these articles are made, in color and finish, very nearly equal in appear- ance to new goods.
