Grand, Square, and Upright PIANOS. Received the Highest Award at the Centennial Exhibition. 881

STECK PIANOS,

Triumphant in America and Europe I FIRST PRIZE,

The only Gold Medal,

Vienna World's Fair, 1873. HIGHEST AWARD, Medal and Diploma of Honor, CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION, 1876.

Distinction over all others for "greatest power, pleasing and noble quality of tone, solid workmanship, and novelty of construction in an independent iron frame," and placing strings in three tiers.

"This Iron Frame or Plate alone holds the entire inner work of the instrument, such as Wrest-Plank, Strings, Sounding-Board, etc., thus relieving the wooden case from the immense strain of the strings.

" The advantage gained by this invention is a great saving of time and cost in manufacture. combined with increased strength and simplicity of construction. These instruments, not being dependent on the wooden frame, are thus secured, in the highest degree, against the influence and change of temperature ; they consequently keep in order and stand in tune for an unusually long period, which adapts them to every climate."

George Steck & Co., in their Pianos, have shown the only valuable new invention and novelty among all the Plano Exhibits at the Centennial.

This invention is so important and unparalleled, that the Judges unanimously commended it in their Official Report, and placed the name of GEORGE STECK & CO. at the head of the list of awards for Pianos.
