TEN YEAR NON-FORFEITURE PLAN. BY THIS TABLE, A PARTY AFTER THE SECOND YEAR CANNOT FORFEIT ANY PART OF WHAT HAS BEEN PAID.
Thus, if one insuring by this plan for $10,000 discontinues after the second year, he is entitled to # PAID UP POLICY, according to the number of years paid in, viz. :
Second year, two-tenths of $10,000, [amount insured,] amounting to $2,000, with dividend on same for life. Third year, three-tenths of $10,000, [amount insured,] amounting to $3,000, with dividend on same for life, Fourth year, four-tenths of $10,000, [amount insured,] amounting to $4,000, with dividend on same for life Fifth year, five-tenths of $10,000, [amount insured,] amounting to $5,000, with dividend on same for life
And so on, until the tenth annual payment, WHEN ALL IS PAID, AND DIVIDENDE STILL CONTINUE DURING THE LIFE-TIME OF THE ASSURED.
Knickerbocker Mutual Life Insurance Co.
ENDOWMENT POLICIES.
These policies are coming into general request. As a sure and profitable investment for one's declining years, they deserve the attention of all. The sum secured by an ordinary life-policy becomes available upon the death of the assured; on the Endowment plan the amount is received by the assured himself upon his attaining a specified age, while full provision is made for death occurring prior thereto.
A new table has also been prepared, by which the Premiums can all be paid in ten years, and the Non-forfeiture benefit also secured. The dividends of return premiums will be apportioned from the surplus arising from this class of risks, and continue during the existence of the policy.
PAYMENT OF LOSSES.
. In proving the death of a party, it is desirable that affidavits should be procured from the party in interest, the attending physician of the deceased, one or more friends, and the sexton or undertaker having charge of the interment, and in all cases the identity of the party is to be clearly shown. The Company or its Agents will furnish the necessary blanks.
WHAT THE PRESS SAYS :
" An eminently sound and reliable Life Corporation. The management are from among our best business men, and are noted for integrity and honorable dealings. The Company offers the most liberal advantages to members."-New York Observer.
"To a sound pecuniary basis, it unites an intelligent and careful control."-Evangelist.
"None of our Life Companies are making better progress in well-doing."-National Quarterly Review. "We regard the Company as being under excellent management, and in a sound financial condition."- The Methodist.
" Its annual statement exhibits a vigorous growth. It is a safe and reliable Company."-Independent.
"Shows first-class management and ability."-N. Y. Commercial Advertiser.
"A good Company beyond contingency."-Tribune.
"Sound, solvent, and affluent."-Wall Street Underwriter.
"The Knickerbocker is in the front rank of American Life Insurance Societies. We can heartily com- mend the office as one worthy of implicit confidence."-Railroad Journal.
"We cordially recommend the Knickerbocker to our citizens for safety, liberality, and fair dealing."- New Orleans Times.
SOME OF THE ADVANTAGES OFFERED BY THIS COMPANY.
The question is no longer, Shall I insure my life ? but, Where is it to my advantage to insure ?
1. The Knickerbocker is mutual, because profits are divided among the assured.
2. It issnes every desirable form of Policy.
3. It allows the insured to travel and reside in any portion of the United States and Europe, at any and all seasons of the year, without extra charge.
4. It throws out almost all restrictions on occupation from its Policies.
5. Its rates of Premiums are as low as any Company can offer and do a safe business.
6. It is most liberal in favoring Policy holders in payment of their premiums.
7. It will, if desired, take a note for part of the premium, thus combining all the advantages of a note and all-cash Company. This arrangement favors persons of small means, in securing about double the amount of insurance for the same cash payment that can be had in an all-cash Company. It favors capitalists, who can make their money earn more than average interest.
8. Its dividends are added to policies, or applied to reduction of Notes, or payable in Cash if no Note has been given.
9. Dividends have averaged 45 per cent. yearly.
10. All losses are paid promptly.
11. For the benefit of married women it issues policies which are beyond the reach of their husbands or their husbands' creditors. Creditors may insure the lives of debtors.
Life Insurance, for security and further accumulation, is as much to be sought after as the result of our continued daily toil, or the reward of further prudent and legitimate investments.
