TREATMENT
OF
DISEASE IN ITS VARIOUS FORMS
BY THE
WILSONIA
MAGNETIC CLOTHING.
The principles of cure by this method are to be found in the influences exercised by continuous currents of magnetism upon all parts of the body, beginning with the nervous system, arousing this important part of the organism to a revival of its dormant energies ; the blood, in turn, undergoes a purifica- tion by magnetization of its integral elements, and the various organs of the body, feeling the stimulating influence of the healthful current, are urged to a more vigorous performance of their several functions.
For example, the stomach performs more thoroughly the duty of gastric digestion; the intestines, that of assimilation and absorption ; the kidneys, the excretion of effete and excre- mentitious matter; the lungs, a more thorough aeration of the blood, by which the vital changes from venous to arterial are effected, and especially are the cutaneous exhalations called into active operation whereby many of the impurities of the body are expelled, and, in time, the natural and healthy trans- piration substituted.
When the fact is recalled that all these vital functions are renewed, after having been delayed and obstructed by the preventing forces of disease, and all this too without the

necessity for the introduction of drugs into the system, which, though doubtless in very many instances productive of good, and recuperative in their action, are yet in too many other instances the sources of much evil, because of injudicious ad- ministration, both as to quality and quantity.
When, we say, the fact is recalled that the subtle and harmless currents of magnetism, continuously applied, have wrought these marvelous changes, is there not abundant reason to be thankful that such a comforting solace, such a saving power is ours to do with for the maintenance of one of the greatest, if not the greatest, blessings that can be bestowed upon mankind-Health !
From one of our most recent testimonials we take the grateful words which have just been sent to us by one of our patients who has adopted our treatment since February.
WOODHULL, HENRY Co., ILL., April 21st, 1882.
The Magnetic garments you sent me came to hand about the last of February. I adjusted them the same day, and at this date, April 21st, am relieved of all my troubles. My head is clear, the ear-ache gone, and the pain in the stomach I have only felt twice, and that was a day or two after I put them on-I can walk with ease and eating does not give me pain. Before putting the garments on I could not walk in the wind twenty rods without feeling a bad sensation in the throat, which would diffuse it- self through the lungs, and it would take an hour or two before I got over it. Yesterday I walked half a mile to a neighbor, and back. I sleep well, sing all day, and am feeling young-all done in less than two months by wearing the Wilsonia garments. Age, 63 years in June next.
ESTHER M. BURGESS.
Many more evidences of the success of our magnetic treat- ment might be added, with the names and residences of our patients, but, while withholding them for certain reasons from publication, we are ready to show our correspondence, which embraces all parts of the country, far and near, to all who may feel desirous of satisfying themselves of the accuracy of our statements.
