MILITARY DEPARTMENT.
The 5th Brigade comprises the County of Kings.
PRIVILEGES OF UNIFORMED CORPS AND OFFICERS.
1. Exemption from military duty after seven years service. For Commissioned officers after four years service.
2. Permanent exemption from jury duty.
3. Exemption during service, from taxes on $500, and for the Light Artillery, on $1000.
4. Exemption from two days' service on the highway.
