From November 1st to April 1st, $4.00 arc added to the full pilotage of every vessel.
For Outward Pilotage .- For every vessel drawing less than 14 feet of water, per foot, $2.70; 14 feet and less than 18 feet, $3.10; 18 feet and less than 21 fect, $4.10; 21 fect and upwards, $4.75 per foot ; for every day's detention, $3.00.
For Transportation from North to East River, and vice versa .- All vessels, merchant or war, $5.
From New Quarantine to N. Y. half pilotage, from upper Quarantine to N. Y. quarter pilotage, from upper to lower Quarantine, quarter pilot- age, exclusive of the off shore. Hauling into the river from the wharf, $3.

NOTICE.
No letter will be sent from' this office. to places within the United States, unless the postage is prepaid, by stamps.
Stamps and stamped envelopes can be procured at the office of sale in the l'ost-office building, (B'way side), open from 9 A. M. to 3 P. M. ; at all the Stations, and also authorized agents in differ- ent parts of the City.
On Letters.
The Inland Postage (which must be prepaid) npon single letters is 3 cents ; double letters, twice, and treble letters, treble these rates.
Every letter or sealed parcel not exceeding half an ounce in weight is deemed a single letter, and every additional weight of half an ounce, or less, is charged with an additional single postage. prc- paid by stamps.
City letters must be prepaid by stamps at the rate of two cents for cach }{ oz., or less, and two cents for each additional }/2 oz., whether delivered from the office or by the carriers.
Advertised Letters are charged with one cent. in addition to the regular postage.
All newspapers and periodicals issned weekly or more frequently to regular subscribers, 2 cents per Ib.
All newspapers and periodicals issued less fre- quently than once a week, 3 cents per lh.
Samples, patterns and articles of merchandise in packages not over 4 lbs in weight, 1 cent par oz.
All transient books, newspapers, samples, &c., mnst he prepaid in full, or they will not be for- warded at anove rate.
