The following scales have been designated by tho Commissioner of Weigh s and Measures as welghing stations for coal and coel vehicles under the pro- ision of chapter 327 of the Laws of 1900: Under this law every purchaser of coal in Now York City has the legal right to send any load of Coal eo purchased to any of the following scales to be weighed, provided tha the scales sha'l be no more han one-half mile distant from the place of loading or of the place of delivery of said coal.
