On referring to this Directory, it will be noticed that the names of streets, venues, etc., follow each other in strictly alphabetical order, without regard to cation. To all the more important streets and avenues are subjoined the names and umbers of intersecting streets, avenues, etc., in the order in which they occur, so hat if you wish to find, say No. 827 St. Clair, by reference to the Guide you will nd that St. Clair crosses Case av. at No. 820 and Lyman at No. 840, hence, the lace you seek is between these two numbers, and nearest to Case av. Where no umbers are designated, the corner is vacant or occupied by a church or school ouse.
