CONFERENCE HISTORY

APPENDIX 5

MIAMI CONFERENCE MINISTERS

1810 - 1969

This list of ministers is dated August 20, 1970. The list is arranged alphabetically giving date and method of entrance into the Conference, the date of ordination and the date and method of termination of membership. In most cases the absence of a date of ordination means that the person had not been ordained. In some instances, however, it indicates that the date was not available.

The terms exhorter, preacher and full minister are used in the early minutes with no reference to licensing. Licensed in every instance means licensed by Miami Confer- ence. A blank in the termination is an indication that the minister is still a member of the Conference. The date of death is given only for those ministers who died as mem- bers of the Conference. The list contains 899 names, Miller-14, Davis-11, Smith- 11, Hoffman-9, Brown-8, Arnold-6, Bonebrake-6, Ross-6, Zeller-6.
