DIRECTORS' REGULATIONS FOR GRANTING OUT- DOOR RELIEF TO THE POOR.


1. Each ward is one district for providing provisions for the poor, and for this purpose a grocer is to be contracted with in each ward to deliver, on the order of the Board, such provisions as may be required, the account to be pre- sented and settled on the last day of each quarter, to be sworn to by the grocer, that the articles named therein were all delivered, of good quality, and that the prices charged for the same are the same as by him charged to his regular cash customers, and no more.
