MANUAL AND DIRECTORY - 1903

Form of Bequest

to the "Charity Fund" and to the "Local Church Extension and General Benevolence Fund"

As shown in the Annual Report of the Treasurer, the Board of Trustees have made the Commonwealth Guarantee Trust and Safe Deposit Company the Trustee of the Church for the care of all in- vested funds. They have deposited with the said Trustee all of the moneys now belonging to the "Charity Fund " ($2,000), and also that belonging to the "Local Church Extension and General Benevolence Fund " ($8, 100), and will expend only the annual earnings of interest for the benefit of the causes named, and to supplement the usual contributions thereto.

It is the desire of the Board of Trustees to increase the prin- cipal of these trust funds, and to this end they invite the attention of the members of the Church to the worthiness of the objects named. To assist any one who may be inclined to make a bequest to the Church, to be used in the aid of either "Charity " or "Local Church Extension and General Benevolence," the following form of devisement is given, viz. :

"I give, devise, and bequeath to the Trustees of Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, of Harris- burg, Pa., the sum of dollars for the ' Charity Fund' for the ' Local Church Extension and General Benevolence Fund,' or for both, as may be selected)."

All such bequests will be placed in the custody of the Trustee of the invested funds of the Church.

HI. B. MITCHELL.
