" What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
" And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
" And when he cometh home he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.
"I say unto you, that likewise, joy shall be in heaven over que sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just per- sons, which need no repentance." -- Luke 15, 3-7.

MEMORIAL WINDOW
The beautiful window recently placed over the gallery of the south side of the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, Harrisburg, Pa., by Mr. John I. Beggs and his daughter, Miss Mary Grace Beggs, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as a memorial to Sue Elizabeth Beggs, was executed by the Tiffany Studios of New York, from a design by Mr. Frederick Wilson.
There are three large openings under the center. On a panel in the lower part of the center opening is the following inscription :
Bu Memory pt Sur Elizabeth Brygs Wife nf Jahu Urbin Brugs 18.17 1902
Under the right opening, the text, " The memory of the just is blessed."-Proverbs 10, 7.
Under the left opening, the text, "He giveth His beloved sleep." -- Psalmns 127, 2.
The subject represents that most interesting theme, The Ascension, the crowning act in the life of Christ, which can be epitomized as follows: The Lord having given His charge to the apostles to preach His gospel to every creature, lifting up His hands, He blessed them, and it came to pass whilst He blessed them, He departed from them, and while they looked on Him, He was raised up and a cloud received Him out of their sight, and He was. carried up to heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God.
The window is built very much on the lines of tradition, but, at the same time, the artist has given an individuality to each one of the figures that appeals directly to the spectator, making him feel that although the theme is old, yet in this window it is a new and most interesting story. The figure of the Lord is extremely beautiful; the pose is suggestive of the power and glory of the In- carnate God. To attempt to describe the color composition would be impossible; the eye alone can appreciate its wonderful magnifi- cence, which in beauty rivals, if it does not surpass, the far-famed windows of the middle ages.

PULPIT AND FONT
A beautiful Pulpit and a Baptismal Font in the early Gothic style have been completed by the Tiffany Studios of New York. These were specially designed for the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, Harrisburg, Pa. They are made of Serpentine Marble inlaid with mosaic, in harmonious tones of reds, greens and yel- lows, enriched with Mother-of-Pearl. The bowl of the Font is about 23 '2 inches in diameter, and is hollowed out of a solid piece of marble, and, with the exception of three raised cherub heads, is of very simple design. The upper part of the Font is supported by three octagonal mosaic columns joined together, emblematic of the Trinity. The base is a block of marble about 22 inches square and 5 inches high, on one side of which is placed a bronze tablet bearing the following inscription in raised letters :
In Memory of David Derr Ross 1082 1898
The Font was the gift of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Ross
The Pulpit, which was the gift of Mrs. T. De Witt Tahnage, Washington, D. C., widow of Rev. Dr. T. De Witt Talmage, is made from the same kind of marble, and ornamented with mosaic of the same general coloring and design as used in the Font. While not large or massive, it is very substantial and artistic in appearance, being 40 inches high and 45 inches wide, and has a depth of 28 inches. On the speaker's left is placed an electric reading lamp, with a shade of Tiffany Favrile Glass, the metal work being stained to correspond with the general color of the pulpit. There is a marble shelt about midway between the top and the floor for books and papers. On the front of the Pulpit is a cross inlaid in mosaic and framed in a border of the same material. There are, also, panels on the sides formed by inosaic bands. In each of the front corners are octagonal columns, on each face of which is placed a mosaic panel. At the base of the Pulpit on the speaker's right there is a bronze tablet with the following inscription in raised letters:
In Memory of 0. De Witt Calmagr Arracher aud Lerturer Chrise heard here
Just to the left of the tablet, carved in the marble itself, are the figures "1903."
