The Banks are open every day in the year from 10 A. M. to 3 P. M , except Sundays, Christmas, Day, New Year's Day, the 4th of July, and general Holidays, appointed by legal authority.


The interest for Discount in the banks of this city is fixed at one per cent. for sixty days. Three days of grace are allowed, and the discount taken for the same.
