The Banks are open every day in the year from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M., except Sundays, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, the 4th of July, and gen- eral holidays appointed by legal authority.
The interest for discount in the banks of this city, is fixed at one per cent. for sixty days. Three days of grace are allowed, and the dis- count taken for the same.
