Bank Rules.
The Banks are open every day in the year from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M., except Sundays, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, the 4th of July, and gen- eral holidays appointed by legal anthority.
The interest for discount in the banks of this city is fixed at one per cent. for sixty days. Three days of grace are allowed, and the discount taken for the same.
All the Banks being National, elections for Directors take place in January of every year.
