DISTRICT COURTS.


District Court of the city and county of Phi- ladelphia on the first Monday in March, June, September and December, to sit nine months in each year.


District Court, for the city and county of Lancaster, and county of Dauphin; this Court expires on the twenty- eighth of March, 1828.


Lancaster, first Monday of February, second Monday of June, first Mondays of September and December.


Dauphin, on the third Mondays of February and December, fourth Monday in May, and the first Monday after the second Tuesday in Oc- tober.


COURTS IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK.


The Court for the Trial of Impeachments and the Correction of Errors is held in Albany, during the sitting of the state legislature-(and sometimes, by special statute for that purpose, when the legislature is not in session. )


Supreme Court, (to hear and decide on points of law and practice, ) is held at Albany the 3d Monday in February and October, at New York the Ist Monday in May, and at Utica the Ist Monday in August.


Court of Exchequer .- Is held at the same time with the supreme court.


Court of Chancery .- Stated terms at New York, 2d Monday in June, and last in September; at Alba-

Circuit Courts-(for the trial of civil causes) and Courts of Oyer and Terminer (fer the trial of crimi- nal matters, ) are held, by statute, in and for the county of Albany on the second Tuesdays in April, and first in October; and in Rensselaer on the second Tuesdays in July and December.


In the counties of Dutchess and Oncida, the same courts are held troice in each year, and in the other counties once in each year, at such time and times as the Supreme Court shall appoint, provided that one term of the supreme court shall intervenc between the, appointment of suel time or times, and provided sueb time or times shall not be the same with other courts legally appointed to be held in such county.


The Common Pleas and General Sessions are held in the several counties as undermentioned; excepting that where the name of the month is printed in Italics, the Common Pleas only, is held in that term.
