We, the undersigned, Assessors of Taxes, in and for the Town of Narragan- sett, Rhode Island, at the time of the assessment of Town taxes of said town for the year 1928, to wit, on the 15th day of June, A. D. 1928, at 12 oclock Noon, have assessed against every person in the Town, who, if registered, would be qualified to vote, a tax of one dollar or so much thereof as with his other taxes would amount to one dollar.

Annual Town Meeting for the election of Town Officers-The First Monday in May, beginning at 10 o'clock A. M.
The Annual Town Meeting for the purpose of ordering a Town School and Highway Tax-The Second Monday in May, beginning at 10 o'clock A. M.
Regular Meeting of the Town Council and Court of Probate-The Third Monday of every month, beginning at 2 o'clock P. M.
Regular Quarterly Meetings of the School Committee-The Second Wednes- day in June, September, December and March.
VOTE ORDERING TAX, MAY 14TH, 1928
RESOLVED, That the electors of the Town of Narragansett, qualified to vote on any proposition to impose a tax, in town meeting legally assembled on this 9th day of May, A. D. 1928, hereby order the assessment and collection of a tax on ratable real estate and tangible personal property of two dollars on each one hundred dollars of the value thereof; and on ratable intangible personal property of forty cents on each one hundred dollars of the value thereof; said tax is for ordinary expenses and charges (and sinking funds), for the payment of interest and indebtedness in whole or in part of said town, for the payment of the town's proportion of the State tax, and for other purposes authorized by law. The board of assessors shall assess and apportion said tax on the inhabi- tants and ratable property of said town as of the fifteenth day of June, A.D. 1928, at 12 o'clock M., according to law, and shall, on completion of said assessment, date, certify and sign the same and deliver to and deposit the same in the office of the town clerk on or before the first day of September, A. D. 1928. Said tax shall be due and payable on the first day of September, A. D. 1928, and all taxes remaining unpaid on the first day of November, A. D. 1928, shall carry until collected a penalty at the rate of ten per centum per annum upon such unpaid tax.
