As the Drum Majors pay is not more than the common Drummers, and he being oblijt to teach the young Drummers and keep their Drums in Repair, General Lewis has thought proper to order and it is what is cuftommerry in the army that each young Drummer fhall pay the Drum Major 5s. pr month untill the Drummers are capable of doing duty, and keeping their Drums in order.
The fife Major, for his trouble of teaching, the young fifers are to pay him 5s. pr month untill they are capable of doing duty, and fhould any young Fifer break or render his fife unfit for fervice, he is to pay for it. Commanding officers of Companies are to be very carefull in feeing their ftreets clean and fivept every day.

Wm Davis of the Ist Battl may be enquired into Refpecting his Letter Wrighting, greatly reflecting on his Char- acter as an Officer, and that the Conduct of John Davis his Brother to the faid Captain, if any Rank in the Army, be enquired into Refpecting his pro- pergating Falfe and fcandelous reports, as he appre- hends, of the fame tendency in the Army Com- manded by Col. Woodford.
