Annual Town Meeting


The legal voters of the town of Dover, Vt., are hereby notified and warned to meet at the church in Dover Center. so called, on Tuesday, the 5th day of March, A. D. 1912, at 10 o'clock a.m., to act on the following propositions, viz. :


ARTICLE 1. To act on the reports of the town officers.


ART. 2. Shall license be granted for the sale of intoxi- cating liquors in this town?


ART. 3. To see if the town will have two road commis- sioners in accordance with No. 107 of the Acts of 1910.


ART. 4. To elect all town officers required by law to be elected at the annual town meeting.


ART. 5. To see what the town will pay their town officers.


ART. 6. To see what sum of money the town will raise for highway purposes.


ART. 7. To see if the town will raise a sum of money for highway purposes to take advantage of the state aid law.


ART. 8. To see what sum of money the town will raise for town purposes.


ART. 9. To see what sum of money the town will raise for school purposes.


ART. 10. To see if the town will have medical inspection of its schools.


ART. 11. To see if the town will abate the taxes of B. F. Butterfield on list of 1911.


ART. 12. To see if the town will buy a new road machine.


ART. 13. To transact any other business that can legally come before the meeting.

The auditors of the town of Dover, Vt., respectfully sub- mit the following report. The grand list for 1912 was $2,613.65. On this list there has been assessed a tax of 150 cents on the dollar-70 cents for town, 50 cents for school and 30 cents for highway.
