Testimonials FOR C. C. Liniment

San Francisco, September 20, 1889.

THE C. C: LINIMENT Co., S. F .- Gents : I have used your C. C. Liniment in my family, and consider it an article of the highest merit. I most cheerfully recom- mend it as a household remedy. W. D. GARLAND,

Equitable Life Ins. Co., 405 Montgomery street, S. F.

San Francisco, August 9, 1889.

THE C. C. LINIMENT CO .- Gents: After using all other remedies for Rheuma- tism without effect, my mother was cured by the use of one boitle of your C. C. Lini- ment. It is a truly wonderful medicine. I am very truly yours,

ZENO MAUVAIS, Music Dealer, 769 Market street, S. F. San Francisco, August 26, 1889.

THE C. C. LINIMENT CO -- Gents: The udder of one of my cows became in- flamed and badly swollen. I used all ordinary remedies without doing any good. I then applied C. C. Liniment. The inflammation began to subside at once, and in twenty-four hours the cow was entirely well. The C. C. Liniment has my endorse- ment as a valuable Liniment for dairymen and farmers. Yours truly,

CHAS. ELLIS, Highland Park. San Francisco, September 20, 1889.

THE C. C. LINIMENT CO .- Gents : I cannot sufficiently express my gratitude for the benefits derived from the use of your C. C. Liniment. As a Liniment for ani- mals it certainly has no equal on the market. In one instance it saved a very valuable horse for me that picked up a nail. The animal's leg was swollen to twice its natural size, and it suffered such agonizing pain that it seemed almost impossible to save its life, but the C. C. Liniment gave almost instantaneous relief, and in less than a week the horse was able to work as usual. I also used it for inflamed udder with my cow with the most gratifying success, I heartily recommend it as a valuable remedy for horse- men and dairymen. I would not be without it. W. HENRY.

San Francisco, September 20, ISS9.

THE C. C. LINIMENT Co., S. F .- Gents: I have been troubled with soft corns for a great many years, and could find nothing that would help me. I got a bottle of C. C. Liniment, thinking it would afford me some relief. After using it for two weeks the corns came out, roots and all. I can recommend C. C. Liniment as the finest remedy for the cure of corns that I have used.

F. J. LEASE, Manufacturer of the Celebrated "Pansy Adjustable Bustle." San Francisco, July 3, ISSS.

MR. W. H. BONE, 317 Bartlett street, S. F .- Dear Sir: I have been troubled with Rheumatism off and on for six years. Have never used anything that has done

me so much good as your C. C. Liniment. I felt relief at once after the first applica- tion. Before using it I could not stand erect; was bent over so badly that I had to use a cane to assist me in walking; but in less than two days after I commenced using your C .C. Liniiment I could stand erect without pain, and now, after using it a week, I get around and do my work without any trouble. I shall recommend it as the most valuable remedy I ever used. I am very truly yours, MRS. P. J. LAUGHLIN, No. 604 21st street, bet. Folsom and Ilarrison. San Francisco, Cal., July S, ISSS.

W. H. BONE, EsQ., No. 317 Bartlett street, S. F .- My Dear Sir: About two months ago I dislocated my left ankle, at the same time breaking one of the small bones in my ieg ; I used several things for a month without receiving much benefit. I then commenced to use your Camphor Chloral Liniment; applying it the first time in the evening the relief from the severe pain Was almost instantaneous, and the next morning, for the first time, I could put my foot to the ground. I am improving daily, by its use, and consider it the best Liniment I ever used. I am very truly yours,

D. VERVALIN, Produce and Commission Merchant, 226 Clay street. RT If you want to know just how much Mr. Vervalin thinks of the C. C. Liniment go and see him.

Persons having keys will observe the following rules :-

When it is necessary to use the signal boxes, go to the one nearest to the fire, and put your key into the outside door, open it and pull down the hook on the inside once, or until you hear a bell within the box; close the door, and re- main to direct the firemen to the locality of the fire. In case the box does not work, go to the next nearest station; you can procure a key at a store or dwelling in the vicinity.

Do not try to take your key out, as it is locked in and will be returned to you.

If, upon opening the door, you hear the bell within the box ring, do not pull the hook for one minute, or until it has stopped ringing, for it will indicate that an alarm is being sent from some other station.

Persons having keys will be held responsible for their use. Do no give an alarm for a fire seen at a distance; do not open the box except in case of fire; do not give an al- arm until certain there is a fire.
