THEORY AND PRACTICE


Are combined in such a manner as to make each a powerful help to the other.


The Student Buys, Sells, Ships, Barters, Consigne, Discounts, Insures, Draws Checks. Notes, and Drafts, Gives Leases. Deeds, etc . and goes through the entire routine of actual business. He becomes acquainted with changing books from Single to Double Entry, and vice versa. and also with Joint-Stock and Partnership Books, and every form and style of Book-Keeping prac- tised in well regulated Business houses. Jobbing, Importing, Commission, and Banking are carried on with the students of the other Colleges in the Association-thus fully illustrating the methods of carrying on business and keeping books when there are different currencies. The pupil becomes familiar with all the calculations and entries connected with Legal Tender and Gold transactions.


SESSIONS CONTINUE DAY AND EVENING.


Clerks, mechanics, and others engaged during business hours, can secure a sound Mercantile Education by attending evenings only. There are no class systems to keep the pupil back; each can advance as rapidly as desired. No particular age or degree of advancement is required to enter the College. We have in operation an
