May 5th 1810. At a meeting of the Chh of Christ of North Canaan legally warned was brought to final issue the case of Huldah the wife of Andrew Judson who had forsaken our communion and
Voted unanimously to withdraw from her our watchfulness & christian. communion.
Voted to Make publick.
In all proceedings of the Church of Christ it is important that the world should have a correct understanding. Though they are responsible in this capacity only to him

whose throne is in heaven, yet they should consider themselves as a city set on a hill, that giveth light to those round about. Not only in their usual walk and conversation, but in their discipline should they let their light shine before men, that God may be glorified.
P 59
It should be seen from their own conduct that they hold to the faith once delivered to the Saints; and practice according to the rules of X. The rules of Christ require that we should withdraw from those who walk disorderly in opposition to the rules of the gospel. However painful the task it is yet necessary after due Christian watchful and brotherly admonition to practice by this divine rule which Christ hath given us. Hence it is incumbent upon me to state before the world the conduct of one whom we have before held in Christian communion with the result of our deliberations on the subject.
P 60 Some time in the beginning of the year 1807, Huldah the wife of Andrew Judson applied for admission into our communion; who accordingly was admitted a short time after. In this mode of covenanting a most solemn promise is made before God, calling Angels & Men to witness that the person thus covenanting will by the assistance of divine grace, live in obedience to the divine rule, attend on divine ordinances, walk in communion and submit to the discipline of the church. The person just named, in violation of this most sacred obligation hath aggrieved her brethren; who after giving all christian advice, reproof and admonition, without proper effect have prayer- fully and deliberately come to the resolution that we no longer consider Huldah, the wife of AndrewJudson a member of this church; and we do now make known; that we withdrew from her all christian watchfulness and fellowship.

July 7 1815 At a meeting of the chh of Christ in North Canaan, Capt. Miles Tobey was required to make the following confession in Publick Test Pitkin Cowles, Pastor Confession as follows.
P 62
In the weakness of human nature; and partly owing to bodily infirmity, I have been drawn aside from the path of rectitude; in my walk and conversation: and I have given occasion for my Xian brethren to be aggrieved; by being to regardless of my conduct in some particulars. Ready to acknowledge my errors, I ask all Christian people to forgive my past faults, and promise in future, by the assistance of divine grace to walk conformably to gospel rules, and to strife to glorify God by an holy life . Miles Tobey
