Building Associations and Savings Banks.

These differ from Savings Banks, in requiring monthly payments to be made of 1 dollar on a share, not to be with- drawn until the shares, including principal and interest, amount to $200, when the stock becomes full. The last six have a guaranty fund, instead of monthly payments. Besides payments on Stock, these associations receive money on deposit, to be withdrawn at pleasure, on which they allow 6 per cent. interest, paid semi-annually, the same as Savings Banks. The dividends to stock-holders is given.
