J. G. Thrower's Invalid Lift & Support.

ATLANTA, GA. Testimonials

MERIDIAN, MISS., June 26, 1890. MR. J. G. THROWER, Atlanta, Ga .:

Dear Sir: Having thoroughly tested, and in fact used one of your Lifting Ma- chines for some time, I feel it my duty as well as pleasure to express my apprecia- tion of this wonderful invention. My mother has been unable to walk for over two years, and as she weighs about 275 pounds, I had to keep two stout women hired to wait on her. Since I got the Ma- chine, the cook with the assistance of any of the five, seven or eight year old little girls can handle her with perfect ease to the cook, and much more so to mother than two women could. It is a great economy, to say nothing of the extra ease with which you can handle a person. The extra woman cost me $5 per month and her board, which is, to say the least of it, worth $10. $15 per month, or $180 per year. It will pay for itself the first year and have $130 clear profit left. Wish- ing you success, I am yours truly,

THOS. M. FERGUSON.

MR. JAMES G. THROWER :

Dear Sir: I take pleasure in recom- mending Mr. Thrower's Lifting Machine to all helpless invalids. For six years I have been confined to a wheel chair from paralysis, requiring two stong servants to lift me. Being induced to try his Ma- chine, I have fonnd it of inestimable ben- etit. A child can lift or lower me with ASSISTING PATIENT TO WALK. ease and without pain or distress of any kind to either of us, and I feel happy in my freedom from the bondage of servants. I would not part with my Machine for anything, snd I feel grateful to the kind friend of the suffering whose heart and brain originated this humane invention.

MRS. M. T. CASTELBERRY.

ELBERTON, GA., July 14, '90. J. G. THROWER, Atlanta, Ga .:

Dear Sir : The Machine came duly to hand, had no trouble in putting together. We tried the working of it this morning with perfect success. It w. s the first time my mother has been off the bed in : 11 :eleven weeks. You can imagine how relieved she was * * Aug. 22, '90. "As to the working of the machine, I don't see how we could have gotten along without it. We use it nearly every day, and it rests her so much, and then the bed feels so much better when she lies down after being made up and aired well.

I am yours truly, B. B. BRASWELL.

GRIFFIN, GA., Sept. 23. 1890. J. G. THROWER, Atlanta, Ga .:

Dear sir : I was thrown from my buggy in June and my hip was broken. I could not be moved except by the assistance of four (4 ) men and then with much pain. I received one of your Lifts and Supports, and was then moved with the greatest ease and satisfaction. Your invention is a blessing to invalids. I do not see how I could successfully have passed through the ordeal without the aid of your inven- tion. I most cheerfully recommend it. M. J. DANIEL, M. D.

For further particulars write the inventor or call and see the machine in operation
