From Constitution-
The general assembly of 1905 passed a vast amount of impor- tant general legislation, of which an adequate idea was scarcely given bythe daily reports.
Of the general legislation which originated in the house, and which was finally enacted into law, the following brief summary will doubtless prove of interest:
Eight new counties were cre- ated, and a law passed providing for their proper organization.
A State reformatory for youth- ful criminals was established.
The railroad commission was given power to require railroads to receive and transport freight promptly.
The general appropriations bill was passed, carrying total appropriations of about $4,200,- 000.
The general tax act for raising revenue was passed in such
