STALFORD'S Patent Tug Fastener
Is the only practical device for effectually preventing the unhitch- ing of the tugs or traces from buggy and carriage singletrees. It consists of a single piece of brass or steel spring wire, nickel plated and highly polished, formed into a loop and attached to singletree so as to swing forward and back, resting upon top and bottom of singletree when tugs are hitched, and securely held in place by the elasticity of the wire. It has sprung into popularity as by magic and is fast superseding all former styles of hooks and clips and the day of the vexatious leather string and hole is past. It is easily attached to any kind of light singletree, is appreciated at sight and sells like wildfire.
