HENRY STOKES, Pres.
An Allotment of Dividend of Thirty per cent., free from Government tax, has been made on all participating Life, Joint Life, and Endowment Policies on which two or more annual premiums have been paid.
The time for adjustment of the dividends is at the date of payment of the present year's premiums.
In periods of general disquiet and anxiety for the future, such as the present, the con- dition of the varions Life Insurance Companies is, to many thousand families, a source of greatest interest, for, should death occur to the head of many families, what resource would remain to the helpless widow and orphan but the hfe insurance policy ?
In view of this, the great prosperity of the Manhattan Life Insurance Company must be a source of gratification to many thousands who are insured with us.
