Mrs. Elizabeth F. Dimock died September 24. She united with the Church November 2, 1890, by letter. She was Superin- tendent of Drawing in the Public Schools. She was very earnest and faithful in all her duties, a regular attendant at Sabbath service, and gave good evidence of her faith in Christ.
Mrs. Mary Chapin Litten died September 28. She came to us by letter, May 6, 1883, and for 8 years her gentle, earnest

christian influence had been felt among us. A loving and devoted wife, daughter and mother, she was just as loyal to the interests of her Church home. The Savion's power to sustain and comfort were abundantly shown in her patient, cheerful endurance of pain and weakness, and the serene faith with which she accepted God's will and committed to His care the loved ones left behind.
. We cannot close this report withont referring to the meetings recently held by Mr. Mills, the events of which are so fresh in the minds of us all. Early in the Spring arrangements were made with Mr. Mills to hold a series of Union Revival Meetings during the month of November ; seventeen Churches subsequently uniting in this invitation. Mr. Mills, who was assisted by Mr. Greenwood, as singer, commenced his labors November 3, continning them nearly four weeks. For the first two weeks evening services were held in this Church, afterward in the Third Presbyterian. The attendance was large and from the first God's Spirit seemed to be working npon the hearts of many, especially among the young and quite notably those connected with the Sabbath Schools of the uniting Churches. Very carly in the progress of the meetings large numbers publicly expressed their desire to become followers of Christ.
The interest increased from week to week until from among those connected with the various Church Societies, as well as from those ontside the Churches, we have reason to believe many hun- dreds, possibly thousands, have been led to accept Christ as their Saviour and are now rejoicing in His love. Professed Christians have renewed their consecration and have been aronsed to greater zeal in the service of the Master. The results of these meetings will long be felt in this community.

UNION PARK CONGREGATIONAL, CHURCH
REPORT OF TRUSTEES. UNION PARK CONGREGATIONAL SOCIETY
OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
To the Union Park Congregational Society:
Your Trustees herewith submit their annual report for the year ending this day.
The report of the Treasurer shows that the receipts of the Society for the year have been as follows :
From pew rentals. $9,253.39
From Sunday collections 1,217.00
From other sources 1,010.00
Total $11,480.39
Adding cash on hand December 9, 1890. 83.55
Total on hand and received $11,563.94
The disbursements have been 13,006.37
The deficit being $2,442.43
Of which amount $1,000 is due the Royal Trust Co., and $1, 442. 43 due the Treasurer.
There are yet dne and unpaid pew rentals amounting to $1,025, of which we consider $800 good, and which will probably be paid within the first quarter of next year, which will reduce the present deficit to about $1,650.
The receipts have been somewhat less, and the expenditures about as estimated in our last report, the receipts from ordinary sources falling about $2,500 below ordinary expenditures.
We estimate the receipts for the coming year from ordinary sources at $11,000; while the outgo upon the basis of expenditure for the past few years will be about $13,000 for ordinary purposes.

OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
Your Trustees have in several reports referred to the condition of the heating apparatus of the Church, but have so far succeeded in getting along without serious breakage or expense in keeping it in use. We have, however, reached a point when prudence sug- gests the necessity of a nearly complete renewal of the pipes, and a change in the system. We have had estimates made of the cost, which, with an additional boiler thought necessary, would be about $4,000.
No part of the assessments for widening and paving Ashland Boulevard has been paid, but some part should be paid during the coming year. In fact it will probably be necessary that some part be paid to prevent a sale of the property.
We recommend the following appropriations for the coming year :
Pastor's salary $6,000.00
Church visitor 600.00
Janitor's salary 840.00
Blowing organ and Janitor's assistant 200.00
Sunday School 300.00
Treasurer 250.00
Music 3,000.00
Respectfully submitted,
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES,
I N. CAMP, Chairman, H1. 11. AL, DRICH, Secretary.

BOOKSELLERS AND PUBLISHERS.

Besides Sunday School Supplies, all such Books as Ministers, Sunday School Teachers and Christian Families need, may be found at our stores.
The circulation of the PILGRIM SERIES of SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON HELPS and Periodicals, published by our Society, has made the following remarkable gains :
In 1883, it was 119,000; in 1886, 316,000; in 1891, nearly 700,000.
Last year the bookstores of the Society paid over several thousand dollars in cash to the Missionary Treasury to push Sunday School Mission work.
If all Congregationalists turned all possible business their way, the sum would be twice as large next year.

WHITE ROCK WAUKESHA WATER
THE only Spring in Waukesha that flows from SOLID ROCK, thus making this Water the best of all Waukesha Waters.
This Water flows from a fissure in the solid rock, which underlies all the land in the vicinity, cropping out only at this place, suggesting the name, "White Rock Spring."
Being so situated this Spring is not contaminated by sewerage, drainage, or high water setting back from the river, which accounts for its absolute freedom from all organic matter.
