Vol. ; was out eighteen monthis; Mr. Mangold's grand- father, on his mother's side, served all through the Revolutionary War under Gen'l Washington, and died at the age of 102 in Penn .; married Mary E. Nimmo, of Jonesboro, III., Sept. 27, 1849; she was born April 21, 1829; have seven children, Louis A., Austin S., Harry W., Nellie H., Elmer E., Chas. H., and Eugene.
