AUBURN.
An important post town and the capital of DeKalb county, about 135 miles north - north- east from Indianapolis, 22 miles north by east from Fort Wayne, and 44 miles south from Coldwater, Michigan. Goods for this place, usually purchased in New York, are shipped by Erie Canal and Lake to Toledo, thence by M. S. & N. I. Railway to Waterloo, 43 miles distant. Population 600.
