Warrant for Town Meeting March 1th 1897. Franklin ss. To Its. W. Field, one of the Constables of everett in the Country of Franklin - Greeting !. In the name of the Commonwealth of massachusetts you are directed to notify and warm the inhabitants of said town , qualified to vote in elections and town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall in said Leverett on Monday the first day of march next at 10/2 o'clock in the forenoon then and there to act on the following articles,

To choose a moderator to preside at said meeting. To choose all necessary officers for the year ensuing. To vote"yes" or "no" on the question"Shall license be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in this town"? To act on the report of the Selectmen, School Committee and Library trustees.
To see if the town will accept of the list of Jurors as prepared by the Selection
To see if the town will vote to require an itemized account of all expenditures made by the Selectmen School Committee and Road Commissioners.
To see if the town will vote to require the assessors to prepare a copy of the valuation of the time to be pub. listed in the next communal town report. To see if the town will vote to instruct the Selectmen School Committee and Road Commissioners to hold regular monthly meetings, and that all orders upon the town treasures shall be made at such meeting. To see if the town will instruct the treasures not to pay any orders unless signed by a majority of the board having authority to issue such orders.
To see if the town will raise and appropriate money to pay the salary of the Superintendent of schools, To see if the town will authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Scheetmen, to borrow money for the use of the town , in anticipation of taxes, and give the notes of the town there for. over.
To determine the manner of repairing highways and bridges, and make appropriations for the same. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to meet town expenses and make appropriations for the same.

Perumbulation of Town line belvion Sunderland and Leverett.
Sunderland Up 24. 1897. according to appointment the Selection of Sunderland and the Selection of Leverett met at a heap of Stones upon a large rock, the same being the northeast comer of the town of Sonder land und the northwest comer of the town of brevet. From this point the said Selectmen with Ges. L. Cooley us surveyor proceeded to perambulate the ton line between said towns of Sunderland and. LeverEtt, From thence raming in a southerly direction, passing all the bounds as measured by the Selection of said towns with B. W. Fay surveyor June 234. 1874 to a stone monument marked S& L. at the southwest corner of said Sunderland.
